1. Out of bounds
- 1.1. All fences enclosing the course.
- 1.2. The driving range, except during play of hole 3 (see Rule 4.3. below).
- 1.3. A ball that crosses the road between holes 6 and 9 and stops beyond it is considered out of bounds, despite the fact that it lies on part of the course.
- 1.4. Agricultural land around the course. It is strictly forbidden to go and fetch your ball there.
- 1.5. The fairway of hole 15, during play of hole 13.
2. Removable obstructions (R. 15.2)
- 2.1. All stones in the bunkers.
3. Abnormal playing conditions (including immovable obstructions (R. 16.1)
- 3.1. All paths and trails. Fences and slopes along the promenade crossing holes 10 and 11 are part of the obstruction.
- 3.2. The wooden beams placed in the bunkers of hole 18.
3.3. All fixed sprinkler heads. In addition, if any such obstruction, on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played, is on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief therefrom, without penalty, as follows:
- - if the ball is not on the putting green or in a water hazard and is within two clubs of the obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at a point as near as possible to where it was located and which meets the following conditions:
- (a) is not closer to the hole,
- (b) avoids embarrassment,
- (b) avoids embarrassment,
- - if the ball is in a bunker, it must be dropped in the bunker.
4. Land Under Repair (GUR) & No Play Zone (NPZ)
- 4.1. No play is permitted from any area defined as Ground Under Repair (GUR) and No Play Zone (NPZ).
- 4.2. No play is permitted on the winter greens. A blue stake is placed in the centre of each winter green and is reinforced by blue markings on the ground bordering the winter greens (NPZ).
- 4.3. On hole 3, the driving range is considered ground under repair. The ball must be played from the Men's Dropping Zone if the player starts from the white tees and from the Ladies' Dropping Zone if the player starts from the blue tees.
- 4.4. If the ball falls into the NPZ on hole 8, the player must play a 2nd ball without penalty from his teeing area.
- 4.5. All paths and trails, fences and slopes along the promenade crossing holes 10 and 11 are considered an NPZ.
- When playing hole 10: the player must play the ball from the dropping zone on the mound of hole 10, even if the ball is on hole 11.
- When playing hole 11: the player must play the ball from the dropping zone on the mound of hole 11, even if the ball is on hole 10.
5. Miscellaneous
- 5.1. A ball in a bunker, lying in a groove formed by the flow of water, may be dropped, without penalty, in the bunker at the place closest to its starting position and without moving any closer to the hole.
- 5.2. If a ball touches a cable, a lamp post or a pylon, it must be replayed without penalty from the place as near as possible to the place from which the original ball was played.
